Where do you draw the line? Which version do you take into the pulpit? Which version would you be comfortable with telling people, “this is the preserved Word of God”? Why do you draw the line there? If you were in California would you use the Surfers Bible Translation? Which version(s) do you consider the Word of God and which version(s) do you consider to be what man says God said?
Does it matter if you use a paraphrase verses a literal translation as your standard version? Why?
Why are there so many versions today? Is it so that everyone can have the one they like best? Are there bad versions? Is Satan the master counterfeiter? If you were Satan would you be subtle in changing the Word of God or do it all at once?
